At school mostly, havent been home before six for the past few weeks. Now however I only have to stay after a few times a week, and my cars about to get fixed so that should improve travel times as well as taking the load of my friends and parents.

Trying to get a job, so well see how that goes.

I posted a 10,500 point win on suicidal in a tiny galaxy.
I hope I can be forgiven cause I didn't submit a game because I had error 12. But now its fixed. According to the Altmeta I'm the 5th overall scorer in the empire. Can I be senator again... please?

I myself have started a new game for the Hitchhikers, lets see how it goes.

For scores remember, although a large military starbase array will enhance your score, it does not form the foundation.

Population, military might, speed(game years), economy, state of domination speed(how soon you dominate the galaxy), Research spending, social integrity and combined fleet statistics form the basis for scoring in a game.

You'll find that if you have a 4 year political win with 7.6K points and you somehow reduce time to 3 years. The score will go over 8.5K points.

Oh yes I know time is a factor, I like longer games though, in my opinion not killing off even the weak races leads to some interesting game dynamics.

I have to agree. I will put my next game in for the Empire. Havent played a good game in a while. Mostly evil games.

Oh I have to agree. The game I started with the Yor fell apart quite quickly. I have a new pet peave race though, the Terran.

The Hitchhikers need to go on a recruitment campaign.

Those top 10 empires have been sitting in those ranks for too long. Much too long... They shall fall and we shall be their successors...

How long have you seen those Diplomats or Kzintis or Hegemony-ions in those top ranks? You can join them but you'll never get the same kind of respect earned as you will helping build your own empire instead of joining a ready made one. Be that much of a man...

For every galaxy you dominate is just another day for the one of the Galactic Civilizations but its the start of a new day for the Hitchhikers of the Galaxy...

Nice speech, I like the 'not just another member' angle . However, I'm not quite sure about the 'Be a man' bit. I'll wait for a few more opinions .

On another not, I have started another game for the Hitchhikers (my first game of GC2 for ages). It seems to be going well, I'm currently in the process of a military buildup so I can capture the Krynn homeworld and its lovely Precursor Library .
